INTERESTING FACT: Greenslade reserve in NORTHCOTE can hold and slowly release 12 MILLION LITRES when it floods.
TALL TALE: Hayman Park Play Tower in Manukau at 12.8 meters high, is New Zealand’s TALLEST playground.
HISTORIC BRIDGE: Installed in 1932, the Viaduct BASCULE BRIDGE is one of the few bridges of its type in the WORLD.
INTERESTING FACT: Over 90% of materials from deconstructing Northcote’s NORMAN KING BUILDING were reused or rehomed.
The final section of NORTHCOTE’S GREENWAY will relocate 6 POHUTUKAWA on site - the largest one weighing 15 TONNES!
