We’re thrilled to announce the launch of Maungawhau Market - a vibrant new Sunday destination where great food, local produce, creativity and community come together at the exciting new Maungawhau Station!

OPENING DAY - SUNDAY 20 SEPTEMBER 2026

With over 60 stalls to explore, there’ll be plenty to see, taste and discover:

Make Space, in partnership with The Village Square Trust, bring you Maungawhau Market. Make Space is an initiative set up to bring life to the land surrounding Maungawhau Station before it is developed.

Make Space is made possible by Auckland Council and delivered by the Auckland Urban Development Office’s Placemaking programme in collaboration with local agency Fresh Concept.
