Stretching 300 metres beneath the city centre, Te Waihorotiu Station has entrances on Wellesley Street and Victoria Street. And when passengers emerge into midtown, they’ll find revitalised spaces waiting to welcome them.

It’s more than a station — it’s a station neighbourhood.

With Te Waihorotiu Station opening, Wellesley Street becomes a new transport hub, bringing high-frequency buses, trains, walking and cycling routes together.

From Victoria Street, a redeveloped east-west corridor called Te Hā Noa connects people to the International Convention Centre, Queen Street, Albert Park, the arts precinct and the university precinct. And, as you move along this greener, more people-focused connection, there's some epic new public art waiting to be discovered.
