Northcote’s new community hub and reserve upgrade - drop-in information session

Northcote library is being transformed into an impressive new space for the community.

Plus, Puāwai Cadness Reserve next door will be made more attractive and useable, with more trees, plants, and facilities, including new play spaces for children of all ages.

We expect construction to start in mid-late 2025.

From early/mid-2025, the library will temporarily shift into a smaller space at 1 Ernie Mays Street. The library will be there for about 3-4 years while the hub is being constructed.e
