There are approximately 4,400 public parking spaces within a five-minute walk of downtown destinations and around 12,300 public parking spaces within a seven to ten-minute walk, providing plenty of choice for people travelling into the city.

In total, there are around 50,000 on and off-street parking spaces across the city centre, giving visitors, workers and businesses a wide range of options. These facilities offer a mix of short-stay, long-stay and leased parking options to suit different needs and budgets, including great weekend-stay offers for those heading to Waiheke Island.

For regular or longer-term parking, a variety of options are available through providers such as the Parkable app, with fixed-term parking from $75 per week. Additional parking spaces can also be sourced through platforms such as Sharedspace.
