Join us at our Pop‑Up in Catherine Plaza this July to explore design options and tell us what matters most to you.

This is your opportunity to help shape a playground that reflects the local community, celebrates nature, and celebrates the identity of Henderson. 

About the project

A new play space is being developed in Henderson Park, designed to support a wide range of play experiences for children and young people.

The design draws inspiration from local narratives and the natural environment, including the Te Kawerau ā Maki story and feather trail concept. These elements will help create a unique and meaningful place for play, connection, and community.

How you can get involved

Visit our pop‑up event to:
Review the play equipment and design options on display, place a dot sticker on the options you like most, and share any additional thoughts with our team.

Your feedback will directly influence the final playground design. Our team will be onsite to answer questions and guide you through the process.
